Apollo offers customers quick changeover features, and enhanced ergonomics and user interface
GREEN BAY, Wis. — Feb. 25, 2020 — Hudson-Sharp, part of Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC) and Barry-Wehmiller’s converting equipment platform, has announced that its innovative high-speed Apollo wicketer now is available globally.
A world-renowned leader in the making of bag-converting equipment, Hudson-Sharp officially launched the Apollo in Europe in October 2019 at the K2019 show, with live demonstrations showcasing its quick changeover features, advanced automation, enhanced ergonomics and user interface, and high-speed capabilities. Since then, four customers in Europe already have purchased this new machine.
Additional benefits for Apollo customers include reduced scrap rates and the ability to collect improvement metrics for production decisions, along with industry 4.0 smart features, such as remote real-time monitoring capabilities, machine diagnostics and SMS notifications.
